What does TreFoc Technology mean and how does it work?

TreFoc Technology is the name for the our new laser
focussing technology, uniquely in systems from DÜRR NDT.
With TreFoc the laser beam is adjusted perfectly to give
optimal image results and the highest signal-to-noise ratio
in any application.
Inside the laser tube, an iris diaphragm adjusts the
laser beam diameter. Since the perfect laser beam
diameter can be selected for each object and image
type, optimum results for any particular application can
be easily achieved.
Regardless of the application – high-resolution image
or low-exposure corrosion measurement – the unique
TreFoc Technology give perfect image results with the
best SNR every time.
The principle of changing the laser beam diameter
takes into consideration the maximum resolution of
the Imaging Plates available on the market.

So every Imaging Plate type can be read with a laser
beam focussed specifically for that plate, thus always
achieving the best image with the lowest noise.

Remote operation without PC

Select and execute jobs

All jobs are shown on the display. When a job is selected, all parameters
are transferred to the scanner and linked with the image after the scan.


Scan process

After the object type has been selected, the scanner sets all scan
parameters perfectly so that an optimal image result can always be expected.


Preview and release

After the scan has taken place, the quality of the image can
be checked on the built-in display and released for storing.

Built-in Mini-PC
The build in Mini-PC allows
the fully autonomous operation.

The scanner functions without being
connected to a Laptop or PC
W-Lan on board
The on board W-Lan adapter allows to
connect the device with the network in no time.

Connection via Ethernet cable also possible.
SDHC memory card
A SDHC memory card with up to 32 GB may
be used to save all images taken while offline.

The SDHC memory card acts as a back-up
solution also, in case of network failures.

Provides enough space to Save up to 4096 images with the resolution 1400 x 1700 Pixels
Autonomous operation
The optional Li-Ion Battery pack
powers the unit several hours.

With the battery pack the scanner becomes
a self-contained system – ideal for field inspection.

Reduced weight
With just 17,5 kg (38,5 lbs) it is the lightest full format scanner worldwide.

Within the flight case the total weight is just below 28 kg, including one battery pack!
